Background
The development and growth of PICT is based on the premise that knowledge
is created through close working relationships and interactions between
1. Institutions of higher education
Who create and nurture actionable concepts.
2. Consultancies
Who align attitudes, habits & behaviours
of individuals and quite often, enterprises, to change
3. Businesses
Whose personnel test, use, transform concepts
into technology & know-how.
This has always been the corner-stone of all PICT teaching-learning
processes, lab experimentations, tutorials and project work all of
which are supported by symposia, seminars and workshops at which other
institutions of higher education, consultancies and businesses participate.
It is reflected most distinctly in PICT’s << Innovation
Initiatives >> that permit our students to interact
with IT businesses and create challenging projects – from conception
to execution. Project proposals emerging from these initiatives incubate
academia-industry co-operations leading to a NEW service, a NEW technology
or a NEW product.
