Department of Electronics and Telecommunications is a synergistic product of many proactive minds. A team of 24 Teaching and 10 Technical Staff members under the leadership of unanimously harnesses its potential in all aspects to take the department to greater heights. The Bachelor of Engineering Programme in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering commenced from the academic year 1995-96. The current student intake capacity is 90. The department has always been among the top performers in the region. It is known for its excellent results and student placements. There are 10 well-equipped laboratories in the department. The objective of the department is to create excellent postgraduates in microwave engineering. The Department has experienced, highly qualified and motivated staff. The Faculty consists of Head of the Department, Senior Professors and expert faculties form reputed industrial institutes and colleges. Visiting faculty consists of experienced and qualified persons who are either staff at other Departments in the College or from outside. Post Graduate degree programme (M.E) in Microwave engineering commenced from the academic year 2006-2007 with an intake capacity of 18 students.
