ABOUT DEPARTMENT

An objective of this program is to create excellent postgraduates in microwave engineering that directly fulfills industry need. Post Graduate degree program in Microwave engineering commenced from the academic year 2006-2007 with an intake capacity of 18 students. The Department has experienced, highly qualified and motivated staff. The Faculty consists of Head of the Department, Senior Professors and expert faculties form reputed industrial institutes and colleges. Visiting faculty consists of experienced and qualified persons who are either staff at other Departments in the College or from outside. Department is well equipped separate Laboratory, computing software and hardware support. P.G. students have a separate laboratory equipped with latest Pentium Computers and all the necessary software. They have access to the Local LAN as well as the Internet in their laboratory. They can make use of the PICT library including the Digital Library at PICT. Besides text books we have procured in the library a number of reference books for use of P.G. students. Several International Journals are available for reference of the students and researchers.
