The students at PICT are also encouraged to participate in various dance, music, drama competitions throughout the year.

Purushottam Karandak.
Purushottam Karandak is the most prestigious drama competition in Pune . Almost 50 colleges in and around Pune participate in this theatre competition, which was started way back in 1963. PICT Art Circle represents PICT in Purushottam Karandak. PICT has been participating in this competition since 1999-2000 and has been successful in setting up a good repute for itself. This event is scheduled in the first semester of the academic year.

Firodiya Karandak
Firodiya Karandak is another prestigious art competition. Started in 1974 it is a kaleidoscope of youth art forms such as acting, music, dance, fine arts etc. This competition is scheduled in the second semester of the academic year. PICT has a good track record and is credited for introducing new art forms in the competition such as Sand Animation, UV Light event, Shadow event which later were followed by other colleges.

FE Meet
FE Meet is a short small introduction of PICT Art Circle to the new FE students. The aim is to make the new students aware of the cultural activities carried out by PICT Art Circle.

Abhivyaktee
Abhivyaktee is a week long activity for the FE students comprising of cultural workshops. At the end of the activity a show is put up by the FE students in the campus of the college on the basis of what all have they learnt in that week. Also an art exhibition is put up by the students of PICT Art Circle to showcase their talent.

Elysian
Elysian is an art competition especially for the FE students. It provides an excellent platform for the students to portray their creative talent and skills.
