Computer Engineering Department
Department of Computer Engineering is a synergistic product of many proactive minds. A team of 25 Teaching and 11 Technical Staff members under the leadership of Dr. S. A. Joshi unanimously harnesses its potential in all aspects to take the department to greater heights. The Bachelor of Engineering Programme in Computer Engineering commenced from the academic year 1983-84. The current student intake capacity is 120. It has always been among the top performers in the region. The Department is known for its excellent results and student placements. There are 10 well-equipped laboratories in the department.
The Department has been pioneered as the first Post Graduate Department in Computer Engineering in the unaided Engineering Colleges in  University of Pune. There was no facility for post graduation existed for Computer Engineering graduates in the non-aided sector till 2000. This void was filled by our M.E course after persistent efforts in that direction by our Computer Engineering Department. The Faculty consists of Head of the Department, Senior Professors and visiting Faculty. Visiting Faculty consists of experienced and qualified persons. The first batch of M.E. was inducted in August 2000 with an intake capacity of 25

Students won 52 Prizes in various competitions in the academic year 2009-10
An online feedback system was developed in the department for taking student feedback and is being widely used in the institution for the same.

P.G Lab Details

M.E. students have a separate and spacious laboratory equipped with latest Duel Core 64 bit AMD Computers and all the necessary software. They have access to the Local LAN as well as the Internet in their laboratory. Laboratory also contains CISCO 1841 and 2811 Routers; Gigabit managed Switch; Wireless Equipments like Router, Access Point; GSM Mobile; 89C51 and Mini ARM 2148 development Boards for Embedded Systems experiments. Department also has HPC 3300 Mobile with GPS facility.
